Abstract:
Locating the best reference or answer to a specific
question in fire science may be difficult. There are
standard reference books and journals that may be used.
New sources continue to become available, in particular,
electronic tools that are available internationally.
This discussion will center on developing an information
tool kit identifying resources from the print media,
multitopic bibliographic databases, fire databases, and
the World Wide Web, to enable one to find the answer
from either the traditional print media or an electronic
resource.
